I’m officially a fan of her. Seriously. She’s a valedictorian at the age of 14, got her degree by the time she’s 19 which was last year. A girl (soon woman) who’s a bright young star. If there’s someone that kids today should look up to, it’s her. Unlike a certain someone..
Bella’s going to take a nice long (and maybe sian-ish) 3 week break after her exams and before her 3 week Tan Tock Seng attachment.
If Bella’s going to actually ENJOY her 3 week break, she’s going to have to actually make good use of the study break.
It’s true, typing about yourself in a third person perspective really makes you face yourself.
So Bella, keep away from those no good (actually very good) online games that make you stick your face to your computer screen for over 12 hours. It’s not healthy, it’s not worth it, it’s not good.
Bella’s index finger is pressing the left button of her mouse instead of flipping through her lecture notes.
I’m still youthful, still allowed to do the craziest things in life. You know, the aged say ‘youth is wasted on the young’. Because we don’t dare to live, we don’t dare to laugh, we don’t dare to love. Haha are the youths getting more cowardly? Cowardly but more daring at doing all the stupid harmful things.
Smokers are getting younger and younger. My friend told me she had been smoking since 7 years old and only stopped when she was fifteen. Why? Because of her dad, he taught her to smoke. Great parenting skills.. pftt. Youths today laugh and chatter excitedly when they see an accident instead of thinking who might be hurt. Life’s a whole big joke. We all know life is short, but we just don’t seem to give a damn. We feel that we’re at our prime now. A life that’s suppose to be stress-free and full of fun. But the system and society have no mercy.
Crazy parents who constantly compare their kids. Back in their minds thinking: why can’t my child be like that? Are we born to compete? Or is someone going to say that’s just the way of the world? The problem in Singapore is that everyone’s aiming for the same type of life. A white collar job. The type of job that requires you to be cheery and smiley in front of your bitch boss whom you’re hoping to get back at someday. See the vicious cycle? How many of them actually turn back and think, what the hell am I doing?
What are you living for?
